English Speaker's Mistake Twelve

What is a Dog's Favorite Food?

Here is an advertisement written by someone who wants to sell a dog:
"Dog for sale: eats anything and is fond of children. ."
Explanation: A dog that will eat anything is a good thing because you don't have to buy any special foods for it. A dog that is fond of children is also a good thing. However, putting those two ideas together into one sentence makes it sound like the dog is fond of EATING children! Who would want to buy this dog, except some parents who are NOT fond of their children? (^_^)
